Hong Kong born Ryan Lo, currently one of London fashion’s bright young thing had received design training at London College of Fashion and has launched his eponymous womenswear label after graduation.

The label has built up a strong signature romantic fantasy, often drawing inspiration from pop culture and Asian millennium-childhood nostalgia with a feminine notion of cute prettiness, inspiring aesthetics and modern spirit. The diversified range includes dreamy party frocks, playful prints, signature knitwear and girly fun accessories. While reaching a new level of refined sophistication, Ryan’s rule breaking and maximalist sensibilities still see him send an unexpectedly modern wardrobe down the runway.

Picked up by the talent-scouting initiative ‘Fashion East’ founded by Lulu Kennedy MBE and the internationally recognized talent identification ‘NEWGEN’ scheme of the British Fashion Council in London, Ryan has been showing his collections on- schedule during the London Fashion Week since SS13. He was also short-listed as one of the 26 semi-finalists for the LVMH Prize 2015 and is a nominee for the Woolmark Prize (Womenswear) 2016 in the British Isles.

The label has gained popularity and won critical acclaim with the collections featured in various International publications such as Vogue Runway, Vogue Nippon, Vogue China, LOVE Magazine, V Magazine, i-D, Dazed and Confused, Show Studio, Another, WWD, Business of Fashion China and Harper Bazaar China, etc. The famous fashion blogger Susie Lau (Style Bubble) has staunch support for the label and has written all the press releases for Ryan’s presentations and catwalks during the London Fashion Week.

Ryan’s collections have been stocked, among others, by Net-a-Porter, Dover Street Market in London, New York and Tokyo, Trading Museum COMME des GARCON in Paris, H Lorenzo, the Tokyo stores of the HP France group, Dongliang(China) and the independent cutting edge boutiques Machine A in London and Vermeevist BEAMS in Japan.
