Not only did FAIRY DUST grace the tips of the models nails at the Behnaz Sarafpour show, but dreamy fairies felt present in the quirky, party-haunted ballroom of the Meatpacking District’s historic Jane Hotel. The real magic was in the genius of the Behnaz perspective on fashion and beauty: the hair swept oddly across the forehead and back into a ponytail; the schoolgirl collars offset the sophistication of tuxedo striped floor-grazing trousers; perforated eyelet dresses had an undefined edge; brocade tunics woven with lurex threads in gold and silver were exotic, yet strangely modern. Behnaz is a unique thinker with a clear perspective.

Exhibit A: the immediate vision for the ‘FAIRY DUST’ manicure!  A clean, innocent layer of crystal clear on the entire nail, with tips iced in silver and gold glitter. Glistening…and taunting.
