Christian Cota Fall 2012 Presentation – Terra Cotta Manicures

CHRISTIAN COTA MAIN

Woke up to a light and lovely snow today! Magical on this fine NYC morn. Couldn’t wait to see the Christian Cota show. Christian is painter, fashion connoisseur, art and nature lover. Passion defines the fashion, especially in his case.

The collection is inspired by an American Girl lost in Mexico – ‘swept away in swirling sands and vibrant desert hues’. Embroidered fur-detailed sweaters, leather embellished vests, striped jacquard poncho’s…just a few of the textural and sumptuous designs in this inspiring and beautifully made collection. Nails were shades of a well aged and sun washed clay pot.

The “Terra Cotta” ombre effect manicure was created with CND Colour in Chocolate Milk and Putty and then softened with CND Super Matte Top Coat to combine the two colors while still wet to finish the look.
