The Key to Fighting Jet Lag

I’m a walker, so the first thing I do (after a 12 hour flight) is drop the bags at the hotel (it’s only 6:30 a.m.!) …do a little unpacking, and then I’m off to explore the city.  I’m staying at the harbor, so I take a 3-hour sunrise walk along the water, up the hills, over the valleys and I find myself in the trendy part of town called ‘New Markets’, just unlocking the doors.   Glorious for me a find a Karen Walker store…Karen is a national treasure here…the CEO and head designer of her clothing, eyewear and accessories label.  We have supported her for 8 seasons, doing the nails for her NYC runway shows.  Her fashions are very cool, sophisticated and fun…she has a sense of humor in her designs which makes her trendsetting.  I’m a huge fan!  More on Karen later!

I made it till 10 p.m, and then crashed…the key to fighting jet lag for me is:  plenty of exercise, sun, light, clean food,  plenty of non-carbonated water…and staying up till the local bedtime.  Hope it works.
